Well it seems I've been neglecting the world of internet blogging. Not that it was intentional, I was just living life outside (yes, life exists away from a computer monitor). Blogs are a dime a dozen nowadays, and extremely hard to keep up with. Do you know how hard it is to find something to blog about everyday. I mean, I could bother you all with the benign details of cat eating, what I had for lunch, or me waxing my lip, but who wants to know about that honestly? Anyway I have been reading the news, so here are my thoughts are some current events:
Kony 2012: Like the rest of the world, that video was also shoved down my throat. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but after a few links posted by some less than educated, but talented celebrities on FB; I decided to give it a look. 30 minutes later, I had some info but I was very confused. This all sounded awfully familiar. I thought, and thought, then thought some more, it finally hit me while looking for a movie my 3 year old nephew could watch. Wait for it....
I knew I had seen that movement before.
Presidential Election 2012: Now I'm not perhaps the biggest fan of politics, but its still good to keep up with who is running and what their issues are and policies they plan to establish. This information is good to know come November when we must ask ourselves as Americans "Which party sucks the least?"
But hey its still good to get out and vote. At least we're not France.
The Kardashians, Twilight, The Hunger Games: Yeah, I don't care either.

Well guys, it's been awhile. Perhaps longer than I expected, anyway here's something I happened to notice randomly--that that Kris Humphries guy looks suspiciously like troll face or cool face, how ever you like to put it. Don't believe me? Here's proof:
and.......
Someone is getting sued.
Anyway enjoy the song. :D
BTW, I have no clue what this song is about....enjoy it anyway.

The post about VAGINAS!
So I was on the internet, clicking, then clicking some more, when I came across this website. It boasts a "greener" way for feminine hygiene. It seemed interesting enough, and it was making a lot of sense, until I came across this video about how to insert your mooncup®:
After seeing that novel of a video, suddenly the mooncup® doesn't seem so appealing to me as a woman. I mean--so you insert it and can wear it for up 8 hours, that doesn't suck, but taking it out and having to rinse it is the part that doesn't make sense. If you're like me, and overly think about things, then you'll know what I mean. Seeing how it "suctions" to you vaginal wall, taking it out would prove a bit messy--especially in the way stated in the video. Imagine, and excuse me for the vibrant and vivid and possibly gross picture I'm about to paint here, taking that cup out and having menstrual blood gush all over your hands, looking like you just murdered someone painfully and gruesomely...Ew. Not to mention, what about when you have to go rinse out the cup? I mean, what's going to keep you "protected" with your pants around your ankles standing at the sink? I know a lot of people have a sweet bathroom hook-up where the sink is right next to the toilet, so if you're tall enough--or stretchy enough, you can reach without having to get up. But what about those with bathrooms where somehow, someone thought it was a good idea to have the sink some distance away from the toilet? What about then? Anyway, enough about sinks and toilets and back to the mooncup®. Did I mention it looks really uncomfortable? I mean having a big, thick piece of silicone up your veejay--that isn't, you know, moving or vibrating--doesn't seem like a good time. At least to me....
Anyway, if you've ever tried the mooncup® and have any thoughts or stories to share feel free to email me: demgetsbanned@yahoo.com
And remember ladies, keep those vaginas clean, keep em' fresh, keep em' happy, and don't forget to LOVE your vagina! You only get one after all.
I know I'm late with this, but, Happy Pride! If you're gay, stay gay and love it.
I also heard some small (HUGE!) news that New York has legalized gay marriages yay! Read about it here.
Just a small step for equal rights, and let's hope that California will follow suit. I mean, supposedly we're the gayest state, yet we can't grant equal rights for all? Yeah, I don't get that either. Anyway, what a great kick off for SF pride weekend. If you're in the Bay Area, you should definitely check it out. It's a lot of fun, and you get to see/meet some awesome people. Today is the parade, followed by the festival. Lots of booths, lots of people, lots of music of all genres, lots of food, and lots of fun. I'll see you there!
